... established in 1989 as a subdivision of Vilnius University. As well as ISM University of Management and Economics, VU IBS offer degrees in business, management and economics. Now about 1600 students study in the university.
Another similarity with ISM is that studies here are also payable and tuition fees are the same for Lithuanian, EU and foreign students. Third degree price discrimination is implemented in VU IBS. As well as in ISM students are ranked according to their exam results and grades. The difference is that the best students are only able to get 15%, 10% or 5% discount for tuition fee this is considerably less, than in ISM. On the other hand, tuition fees themselves are smaller. The interesting thing is that VU IBS do not reduce tuition fee for those having already heard some courses of lecturers earlier in some other university. While talking about ISM, tution fees for such students are respectively less.
