This large population has resulted in the overuse, destruction, depletion and degradation of the earths’ resources. Industries and other projects that were initiated to help in the general improvement of human lifestyles have become a disaster resulting to global warming, effluent discharge into water bodies and land, release of gases that cause acid rain etc. All these effects have had a great impact on the quality and quantity of environmental resources.
